The production of electric machines and equipment started back in 1952. To improve the development and make possible servicing of electric machine in all world ports, high quality production of electric machines and equipment of its own construction was completed in 1967 with the production under the licence of Siemens. Back in 1953 when the first converter for arc welding was developed, Uljanik TESU started the production of welding machines and in 1969 signed a licence agreement with company ESAB for the production of machines and equipment for arc welding. Thanks to experience gained during the period of applying the licence, Uljanik TESU has developed series of products based on its own technology and knowledge and has become the most important manufacture of welding machines in our country. Further, Uljanik TESU has developed other production programmes, the most significant being generating sets, switching plants and electronic equipment.
