Since its foundation in 1933, Brattvåg Elektro AS has developed in accordance with technological progress and market requirements. Ships and boats have always constituted an important part of our business; we are located by a good harbour, in an active fishing district, with shipbuilders and workshops nearby.

On shore we perform electrical installation and service for many purposes, from small household assignments to extensive industrial installations.

Repair work and automation are natural parts of the work in an electro-technical company – we construct control panels, starter motors and components for all purposes on land and at sea.

In addition to the main base in Brattvåg, the company runs subsidiaries at nearby Søvik and Skodje.

More than 100 man-years are performed within the company. Versatility has always been a prerequisite and strength.

New challenges and commissions have necessitated continued expansion. Still, business development has been carried out in a sober and sensible manner. In combination with ample and continuos activity in our local district, this has facilitated company growth and expansion. Our staff is of vital importance in this endeavour; they take pride in solving problems and performing high-quality work.

The business areas Retail Outlets and Service Workshops were separated from the rest of the company in 1997.

In April 1999, 60% of the shares in Brattvåg Elektro AS were sold to Sønnico Installasjon AS. Since March 2002 Sønnico Installasjon AS is the only shareholder.
