Since the very beginning of the foundation of D. KORONAKIS S.A. in 1967, with its present form, a strong pioneering spirit was there to urge management and staff to push forward on new ideas and ground.

Raising the customer on a central stand the company started, according to its financial reach, to built a pleasant web of products and services around him. Today, after 35 years this is strengthened by a proud reputation supporting the whole revolutionized situation.

Highly competitive from the start our products in wire ropes - ropes - mooring ropes - combination ropes and other, have been also recognized today for their high quality world wide.

The thoughts and problems of our customers have been our compass all these years for research and innovative solutions.

From the beginning not trusting things to luck we acted fast and were acknowledged in their lists, early by Lloyd's R.O.S. as wire rope manufacturers and have been included constantly since then. Our plants operate under the rules and regulations of Lloyd's. We have installed an electronic test bench of 500 T capacity and 40 meter net length also recognized. We were awarded the ISO 9002 Certificate in 1996 and because we have spent significant resources on research and development, improved manufacturing skills, innovative production lines and quality assurance we were awarded the ISO 9001 Certification.

Apart from what we produce, we keep large stocks, that cost significant capital, of anchors - anchor chains - rigging gear, fiber slings and various other accessories to meet the needs of our customers in Greece and elsewhere, while at the same time we have depots with our products in key position all around the globe. This way we stretch out to service our customers at the place they happen to be in the shortest possible time lag and not wait for them to come to us. (DEPOTS IN: USA, EUROPE, BLACK SEA, AFRICA, FAR EAST, PERSIAN GULF…).
