Helseth AS delivers controllable and adjustable pitch propellers, shaft lines and gears for professional vessels world wide.

The power range of our products is from 150 to 4500 kW, and Helseth propeller systems are today installed onboard a wide range of vessel types such as:

• Cargo ships
• Passenger vessels
• Offshore vessels
• Fishing boats
• Work boats
• High speed vessels

Helseth was established in 1906 and has today delivered propeller systems to the shipping industry for more than 100 years. This makes us one of the most experienced propeller manufacturers in Norway.

Milestones

• 1906: Helseth produced its first crude oil engine, gear box and controllable pitch propeller for use in fishing vessels.
• 1965: Fast running, light built diesel engines took over the engine market, and Helseth continued with manufacturing of gearboxes and controllable pitch propeller systems.
• 1970: Further specializing was decided, and Helseth continued with manufacturing of controllable pitch propeller systems only.
• 1990: The production of Helseth CPPs was moved from the center of Molde city to Hjelset.
• Today: Helseth develops and manufactures 3 and 4 bladed controllable pitch propellers for fishing vessels, cargo vessels, ferries, tug boats, fast running passenger vessels and other commercial vessels

We are situated in modern facilities in Hjelset, approximately 20 km from the town centre of Molde, and approximately 17 km from the nearest air port. We have today office and production facilities of approximately 2500 sq.m.
