In 1987, Nabors' scope of business was limited to contract landdrilling services on the North Slope of Alaska, Western Canada and inthe Rocky Mountains region of the United States. Since that time Naborshas expanded its contract land drilling services into most major oiland gas producing regions of the world. In addition, Nabors hasbroadened its oil and gas contracting services to include offshoredrilling and workover and US land well-servicing and workover.

More recently, Nabors has been actively expanding its business intoareas that supplement its primary business as a drilling contractor.These businesses provide our customers with information technology,drilling systems, engineering, transportation, construction,maintenance, well logging and other support services in selecteddomestic and international markets.
