Thor Rederi A/S was founded in 1994 and since 1997 the company has been a part of Sydfyenske Holding Koncernen.

Sydfynske Holding Koncernen itself has a long maritime history as it used to operate the Danish Spodsbjerg-Taars ferry route until 1996.

As of today Thor Rederi A/S has placed the management and all related aspects of business with T Red A/S and both of the companies reside in the old head-office of Sydfyenske Holding at Jessens Mole 1, Svendborg, Denmark.

Our main activity is chartering of own tonnage with all sorts of general cargo with main focus on projects and/or IMO or other specilized types of transport - examples shown here below - and additionally we are attempting to assist our business partners by doing competitive business mainly within the working field our own ships are in.
