1. Manning and Crewing Management:
T.A. Mariner Shipping Management LTD. is well established and capable to cater for the manning of any type of vessels and guarantee that the employed seafarers to meet Cyprus rules and regulations and crewing requirements.
The checking and verification methods we use make certain the seafarers we employ on board ships we are operating possess the training ,skills, and qualifications as stated in their certificates and licenses and that meet the STCW'78 convention standards as amended in 1995 as well as ISM Code.

2. Technical Management :
Our experienced marine engineers in technical department provide close support to ships staff and are:

* Identifying the technical condition of the vessel and equipment by visits onboard on regular basis or whatever deemed necessary.
* Ensures the vessel meets the operational, safety and pollution prevention requirement, by reviewing of new rules and regulation to determine the scope and appliances to company's vessel.
* Support the ship staff in order to maintain and improve performance through the technical support and monitoring the required supplies, maintenance and repairs via vessel's submitted reports which includes:
o Vessel monthly report.
o Class status report.
o PMS (planned maintenance system).
o Supply requisition.
o Non conformity report (NCR).
o Lubricating oil supplies and consumption.
o Senior hand over reports.
o Inventory lists.
o Vetting reports for oil tankers.
o PSC reports .
* Prepare specification of the major repairs and dry-docking as well as supervising the execution of work .


3. Commercial Management :
Our specialist operational staff including master mariners and ex captains with sea going experience work in daily basis with charterers, suppliers and port state and agents and many others to ensure that commercial operations can be proceed unimpeded, furthermore our commercial department undertake :

* Charter party negotiation and Fixtures .
* Lay time and hire statement.
* Resolution of charter party disputes

* Appointment of agents and provision of bunker.
* Settlement of accounts ,c/p ,demurrage.
* Voyage estimates.
* International contacts and specialist knowledge in sale &purchase of ships.

The advantage of our close links with the insurance market enabled us to arrange insurance coverage at very competitive rates with major underwriters and P and I clubs for the ships we are operating .

4. ISM&ISPS Management :
T.A Mariner Shipping Management Ltd, has developed a safety management system (SMS) complying with chapter IX of Solas requirements . System was reviewed and approved by B.V. class on behalf of Cyprus Merchant Shipping Dept. Company holds a document of compliance (D.O.C.) to operate oil tankers and other cargo ships .
Company is externally audited by B.V class auditors on regular basis since 2002 and as per the requirements the ISM Code . All B.V external audits to company and operated vessel were successful .
Following the introduction of the ISPS Code , ship security plans for both M/V "DURBAN" and M/T "SIRTICA" were developed , In addition to all ISPS requirements . Now both vessels hold valid international ship security certificates .
