Chriship AS is a branch company and administrative unit under Chriship Gruppen AS and its subsidiary companies. Our main area of business is administrating and operating cargo ships and supply/standby/rescue ships.

For the time being, we are looking for new, qualified crew members for our ships.

Chriship AS is a branch company under the family company Chriship Gruppen AS, and functions as its operational and administrative center of all subsidiary companies.

Chriship has, as shipowners continuously through several generations (first freight vessel acquired as early as 1858), and as a corporation since 1973, long experience and well-founded traditions within the maritime sector. Traditionally, the group of companies have focused mainly on dry cargo, reefer, and later container trafic as both shipowners, brokers and agents, with headquarters in Vesterålen, Norway.

The trafic area for our own tonnage has mainly been Northern Europe, but includes a few trips to the Mediterranean, Middle East, Africa and Northern America. For the better part of the the last 30 years, we have operated and owned older tonnage, and have thereby acquired the necessary technical skills in that regard. A good example is M/S Tege (running T/C for Tollpost-Globe AS since 1984), which the last 20 years have been in traffic practically without "off-hire", not counting scheduled class upgrades and reconstructions for practical reasons.
