ITALIAN owner Giuseppe Bottiglieri has enhanced its bulker portfolio with an order for two post-Panamax bulk carriers from Jiangsu Yangzijiang shipyard in China. The Naples company had already ordered six 92,500 dwt bulk carriers of the same design in January this year and two more in September, all for delivery in 2009 and 2010. They will be classed by RINA. “The latest move is consistent with our wish to build up a modern bulk carrier fleet as well as matching opportunities coming from the further growth of great markets such as China and India,” president Giuseppe Bottiglieri said.
